Production: Editing

Today Dan has been cleaning up the cuts to make sure they are all precise and exact.

We have been talking about our opening sequence and thinking whether the start has too much narrative in it just for an opening so we are coming up with idea's to make it better.

Production: Editing

Today we have been putting the titles onto the opening sequence to make it look more professional, Dan isn't here today so me and Jo have been doing this together.
We also put it into black and white to make it look more as our theme, it is really effective and works really well.

Production: Editing

We just noticed that there was a jump cut so that we had to put the wallet missing in between the cut so that it would blend better with each other.

Production: Editing

We started the editing last lesson and Dan started the first part of the first scene, while doing this we all helped and decided which parts needed to go into the filming and which parts didn't look up to our standard and that we didn't include. Jo is doing the editing today and she is doing the next scene, i keep going over to her and looking at what she is doing and seeing if she needs any help.

Production: Filming

I felt that in all the filming all went really well the only problem and difficulty we have had doing this was probably the organisation, we could of been more organised by maybe getting it done earlier on. It was extremely difficult trying to get the original cast together but then last minute my friend 'molly' helped me and offered to do it. When I knew that she and her friend matt could do it we really thought threw when we could get together to shoot it!
I wrote to everyone who was involved through face book thanking them for helping us achieve what we wanted to achieve.

Filming

We did the filming yesterday and it all was successful. Here are some pictures of us directing and filming it.

Update

Today we have been discussing what is going to happen tomorrow. The plan is that Joanne is collecting the camera tomorrow morning and we have arranged two cars to pick Jo, Dan, Matt, Molly, Maria, one of Jo's friends and I up so we can go to my house to shot the lounge scene and the bedroom scene. Then everyone can go and we are going to film the alley way scene just down my road with Matt and Molly. It will probably be easier to shot it this way.

We will make sure we have more than enough clips of the each shot so that it is more doable to edit it.

I changed the dialogue because I felt that the original didn't really go with the story line;

Final Dialogue

Maria: Don't you think you should take it too the police?

Molly: No i need the money

Lotte: You can earn money other ways

Jadia: Yeah Molly, hand it back!

Molly: (Stands up) Stop telling me what to do!

Maria: Were only trying to help.

Plot

This an image from Google maps of the alley way in which we will be shooting the scene, and there is also a picture of the house in which we are shooting the lounge and bedroom scene.

Updates

On Friday, Me, Joanne Lauren and James will be going straight from college to the alley way near our houses to shoot our first scene. This is be about 4:30 by the time we get there and so it should be dark enough for this scene. This will need to be done before 6:30 as Amy, Lauren and James has other commitments they needs to attend.

Organisation

Unfortunately Jordan can't come to these days and it is important that we film it this weekend. Because of this we have changed the role of the male part.

Communication issue

Dan was absent from the lesson today in which we booked the camera and emailed him details about what day we are taking the camera out etc.

Dan was back today and we were trying to sort out days of which we could film and the days at the weekend that me and jo can do; dan has work so we may consider having to film without him as we really need to get the filming done.

Cast

We have spoken to kate and laura and they are both free for sunday morning to do the lounge scene, i have spoken to lauren also through face-book and she is also fine with filming over the weekend.

Updates

We have booked a camera today for this weekend so that we can ge the filming done. 07/01/11

Need to check with our cast that they can all attend the filming.
