Risk assessment for Sunday

Tripping over lighting kit power cables.
Serious injury, electrocution.
Cables are to be 'gaffer taped to the floor for the duration of the shot.
Joanne will be in charge of taking responsibility for using gaffer tape to keep it still.
Kit getting wet from drinks.
Electrocution, damaged kit.
Don’t drink anything when near equipment.
We will make sure we have breaks for drinks so they’re not near the equipment.
Burning ourselves on the lights.
Burns.
Make sure that the lights don’t over heat and ensure no one touches them until they are cooled down.
I will make sure the lights aren’t in the way so people don’t have to get close to them when walking past.
Lights setting things on fire.
Burns, equipment damaged.
Make sure nothing is covering the lights for example; blankets, clothing etc.
We will check this regularly and stop people putting things on the kit.
Recording over previous work.
Losing our work.
Before recording make sure it is at the end of the tape.
We will all check this before recording.
Forgetting costumes and props.
Re-scheduling for another day.
Make a list of everything we need and assign the different things to different people.

Running out of battery in the camera.

Ensure the battery is fully charger before working.
I will make sure it is fully charged before leaving the house.
